ABSTRACT
This research is entitled Village Head Leadership in Improving Public Services in Sibang Gede Village, Abiansemal District, Badung Regency. The aim is to determine the Village Head's Leadership in Improving Public Services in Sibang Gede Village, Abiansemal District, Badung Regency and to determine the factors inhibiting Village Head Leadership in Improving Public Services in Sibang Gede Village, Abiansemal District, Badung Regency. In this research the author uses a qualitative approach with the aim of carefully describing the reality of the phenomena that occur which are used for. Research methods are the methods or steps taken in collecting, researching and analyzing data. The research method used in this research is a qualitative research method. The research results of the village head as a leader to improve public services in Sibang Gede village by carrying out his function as an articulator, communicator, motivator, have not shown the results as expected due to unexpected disasters from 2020 to 2021. The presence of employees is limited so that their performance is not optimal, in To improve public services, a leader must think about many things to achieve maximum performance and results. Human resources, infrastructure, level of education are also things that really need to be considered to be able to support improving public services. Factors that hinder the leadership of village heads in improving public services are that the education level is still high school/vocational school, there are even junior high schools and elementary schools, facilities and infrastructure are still limited and the consequences of the Corona Covid-19 situation are greatly affecting employee performance. Problems still need to be leveled. employee work discipline in accordance with the regulations imposed in the office. Ineffectiveness in using applicable methods and systems, the village head is expected to be able to direct and mobilize his employees to participate actively and positively in the high service process. A leader must also be able to motivate his employees to be more enthusiastic and more creative in carrying out their duties, for example, the leader pays attention and appreciates employees with rewards for doing good and positive things. In this way, employees will compete to be creative in providing excellent service. to society
