Transformasi Digital Tantangan Media Cetak Di Era Disrupsi

ABSTRACT
The rapid development of online and social media in society has posed a serious threat to the print media industry. One of them is the decline in readership as well as the decline in revenue from newspaper sales and advertising. This negative impact has resulted in many print media companies being unable to maintain the existence of their media publishing. This study aims to analyse the competitive strategies applied by print media in response to technological changes in the digital disruption era. The research method used is a qualitative descriptive approach, by analysing the impact of digital technology changes on the print media industry. Data was obtained through document studies and content analysis to describe changes in reader behaviour and strategies implemented by print media companies in the face of digital disruption. The results showed the need for print media companies to implement competitive strategies, including digital platform convergence, overall innovation, content quality improvement, as well as the establishment of new business models and partnerships with digital influencers as innovative marketing strategies. The conclusions of this study show the importance of focusing on content, digital integration with conventional media, cooperation with digital influencers, and designing long-term strategies in order to continue to compete in the digital market.
