ABSTRACT
The tourism industry experiences development every year, making the tourism industry one of the profitable assets for Indonesia's economy. In the tourism industry, revisit intention is an important factor for the sustainability of tourism destinations. Revisit intention occurs due to tourist satisfaction during their visit to the destination. Tourist satisfaction arises from the experiences gained while at the destination, which can form a positive image of the tourism destination. This study aims to find out and analyze the influence of destination image on revisit intention through tourist satisfaction among visitors to Sawah Sumber Gempong Tourism Mojokerto. This study uses a quantitative approach to determine the causal relationship between destination image and revisit intention through tourist satisfaction. The sampling technique in this study uses non-probability sampling with purposive sampling method, and obtained samples as many as 110 respondents who have visited Sawah Sumber Gempong Tourism Mojokerto, East Java. Empirical data were analyzed using Partial Least Square Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) with SmartPLS 4.0. The results of this study indicate that destination image influences revisit intention. Destination image influences tourist satisfaction. Tourist satisfaction influences revisit intention. The results of this study provide evidence that destination image influences revisit intention through tourist satisfaction. These findings confirm the importance of a good destination image in enhancing satisfaction, and the emergence of satisfaction can encourage the occurrence of revisit intention.
